VERSUS APRIL 4th, 2012 FEAT MYSELF, DJ ADAM 12 & SPECIAL PERFORMANCE BY BRAND NUBIAN
This very special edition of VERSUS was to kick off the 1 yr. anniversary of INSERT COIN(S). DJ Adam 12 was my esteemed turntable colleague for the evening so we cross branded our parties and did HANG THE DJ vs. AFEX.
Not only did Adam represent behind the booth but his incredible photographic/art installation titled “Hoodies 4 Treyvon” was rolling on the screens throughout the venue the entire night as you’ll see in most of the pictures.
WHAT A NIGHT! Heads came out the wood works for this very intimate very rare BRAND NUBIAN performance…
even my Mamma was in the building, she’s known Sadat for a long time and had never seen them live so she came to out to party and was the star of the show…and rightfully so, she’s my superhero.
