If you’ve got an hour to spare, I highly recommend you check out this never before seen footage from Free Radical’s canceled third entry in the Star Wars: Battlefront series. As you all know, LucasArts did not want to spend the marketing dollars to back this game and canceled it in its Alpha stage which is why there is a ton of footage from the game, yet no retail copy available.
Looks as though the game was moving at a pretty remarkable pace and according to one source, was six to eight months out from shipping when it was canned. Hopefully one day Lucas and his croonies will realize the error of their ways and give the fans what they want. SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY, LUCAS!
